This week in the studio a man who is a retired Command Master Chief with the Navy SEALs who has spent 26 years of service on his country's behalf. With extensive experience in combat, he has been deployed four times to combat zones such as Afghanistan and Iraq. This guest is a true patriot who has dedicated his life to serving his country and has made countless sacrifices along the way. His remarkable service record speaks volumes about his leadership skills and ability to handle high-pressure situations with grace and integrity. Apart from his extensive military experience, he is also highly educated, holding a bachelor's degree, two master's degrees, and a doctoral degree. He is currently the COO of Sylabs and he is here to tell his story. Please welcome Jason Torey.

Jason grew up in the small town in Washington state. Shortly after graduating High School, he left for the Navy to become a United States Navy SEAL, which he did, graduating with Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S) class 190. He spent the next twenty-six years serving as an active-duty SEAL, retiring as a Command Master Chief. After retiring from active service, he and his family returned to Washington.

Currently, he is the Chief Operating Officer in a privately-owned technology company and adjunct faculty for leadership and business at various universities. Jason is passionate about combining his experience and education to create holistic leaders in industry, higher education, and life. He holds a Doctor of Executive Leadership from the University of Charleston, a Master of Business Administration from Washington State University, a Master of Science in Strategic Leadership from the University of Charleston, and a Bachelor of Science in Workforce Education and Development, from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale.

Jason loves to spend time with his family and outdoors in his spare time. His family enjoys camping, fishing, hiking, snow skiing, flying, and riding dirt bikes. If you would like to learn more about Jason, please utilize the link below.
